Sustainability

Novakand Pharma’s activities in the area of sustainability are based on the company’s vision to develop pharmaceutical drugs that are addressing high unmet medical needs, leading to normalized lives for patients.

The objectives are to ensure patient safety, business ethics, corporate responsibility and the work is primarily focused on Environment, Health and Safety (EHS).

The company’s sustainability governance is an integrated part of the company’s quality system, which includes policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that are governing the daily business operations. These policies and SOPs are governing the company’s entire operations, both inhouse and outsourced activities. The board of directors has the overall responsibility for sustainability and the compliance with laws and regulations, but the daily management is delegated to the CEO.
